第一週:超越自我──面對經典的態度

经过多方的思考与检验,我们发现读者所面对到的第一个困难,那就是我们很容易用一种直觉的反应,而在常识的阶层上面来理解文本。换句话说,我们常常不自觉地用自己所熟悉的时空背景,我们个人的人生经验,乃至于我们对这个世界,对周遭环境的一种常识性的理解来解读经典.那么,其中尤其是以这种常识性的直觉反应,最难克服。

因为我们本来对文本就不够熟悉,所以我们需要用一种最直接也最浅层的方式来跟经典接轨,那么这样的一个接轨过程是绝对没有办法跳跃过去,所以说实在的,我们对于经典的解读的问题,并不是在这个第一个阶段,问题是在于,如果我们一直都是以这样子的方式,来反复地接触经典,那么这就会容易产生问题,因为我们每一次的阅读,都会是我们第一次的直觉反应,也就是个人好恶的再强化,都是我们的成见的再根深蒂固化,而无形当中 我们的反复阅读经典,也不过就是在反复地加强跟印证我们既有的成见,而如此一来 对于经典的文本的熟悉,其实反而会形成自我的障蔽。因为我们会更不容易看到在我们成见之外的那些字里行间的讯息。 继续阅读: %s
